FPN is a participatory business news community focused on new ventures and innovation in the field of IT. Dozens of volunteers have been posting articles every day since August 2004. FPN has been contributing to the expansion of the blogosphere in Japan by holding blog contests and publishing a book on blogs and bloggers.

Under the theme of "technology for blog presentation", Goodpic provides information on new web technologies overseas and the way to use them. Author Jun Kaneko has been working for Six Apart Ltd. since 2005, and is now leading their blog business as director of TypePad and Movable Type. Before that, he worked for Sony Corporation. He regularly talks and writes about blogs and web services, and is known as a developer of a popular Amazon web service, "G-Tools", that is used in more than 100,000 blogs.

On Off and Beyond

Popular blog about business and life in Silicon Valley written by a local strategic consultant, Ms. Chika Watanabe. She is a Silicon Valley-based consultant specializing in US-Japan technology alliance strategy and high tech. Her blog covers a wide range of topics, including technologies and venture businesses in Silicon Valley and her thoughts on American life. She is also a founding member and president of Japanese Technology Professionals Association (JTPA) and a regular contributor to various newspapers and magazines in Japan.

POLAR BEAR BLOG provides commentaries on Internet news, unique business ideas, business skills and anything related to business. Author Akihito Kobayashi is a consultant at Hitachi Consulting.
